Calhua Senshi
The Aztec Pantheon is not for the faint of heart. These senshi are known for their single-minded determination to do whatever it takes to come out on top, no matter how bloody or gruesome the outcome may be, then there is no group of senshi bloodier or more gruesome than these.
Their motivations are, for the most part, rooted in blood and battle. Blood is the sole thing that keeps the sun moving through the sky. After all, human lives were a gift given to them by the gods, and is insignificant. Their death determines how well they live in the afterlife. When the gods grow weak, the only thing that nourishes them is the flesh and bone they stole from the underworld to create these humans.

Fuku
The Calhua senshi fuku is very minimalistic -- think wraps of plain linen, leather, or fur. Their visual identity comes instead from elaborate body painting, tattoos, and piercings.
Guardians
Unlike other teams, where guardians are the direct reincarnations of people who lived in the past, Aztec guardians are incarnations of any Aztec place (mythological or real) soaked in human blood. Over time, the blood and bones buried in the soil allowed a consciousness to bloom that would later reincarnate into an Aztec guardian.

Other Information
* The Senshi of the Five Suns
The position of the Senshi of the Sun (who is recognized as the leader of the Aztec pantheon across all teams of senshi) has been passed through four different senshi, and by the time our story opens in New York City, the position has been occupied by the fifth and last: Sailor Tonatiuh.
Sailor Tecciztecatl would have been the new Senshi of the Sun, but was determined to have not been strong enough. She is now the new Senshi of the Moon, a rather shameful position.
The Star Demon (Tzitzimime) Senshi
The Tzitzimime were once stars but were cast out to become lords of the dark underworld, and were a danger both at night and especially during an eclipse. Each dawn and dusk they would battle the sun. It was believed that solar eclipses were a result of the tzitzimime attacking the sun, and in the darkness they would descend to the earth and devour human beings.
In present-day New York, "Tzitzimime" is a name branded to any Calhua senshi that harms civilians -- whether this is seen as a positive thing depends on the senshi...
* The Senshi of Excess (Ahuiateteo)
Members: Macuil-tochtli, Macuil-xochitl, Macuil-cuetzpalin, Macuil-cozcacuahtli, Macuil-malinalli
In the past, these senshi were known as the Five Vices. It is up to the individual players of these senshi as to whether they'd like their current incarnations to continue this trend.
